वसंत पंचमी के ठीक चालीस दिन बाद होली आती है, इसलिए बसंत पंचमी होली की तैयारी का प्रतीक भी माना गया है। वसंत पंचमी का त्योहार ज्ञान, संगीत और कला की देवी मां सरस्वती को समर्पित है। इस उपलक्ष्य में RCDS ने विद्या और कला की अधिष्ठात्री देवी मां सरस्वती की पूजा करके बसंतोत्सव मनाया गया !
