The Department of Public Health Dentistry, Rishiraj College of Dental Sciences & Research Centre (RCDS&RC), in collaboration with IDA Bhopal, successfully organized a free dental screening and treatment camp on 3rd July 2025 at Bittan Market, Bhopal. The camp primarily focused on providing essential dental care services to vegetable vendors and daily wage workers — a step toward inclusive healthcare access.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Shri Alok Sanjar Ji, former Member of Parliament (Bhopal), who inaugurated the camp and praised the efforts of the dental team. He lauded the dedication of doctors and students working selflessly for community welfare and emphasized the importance of public health outreach programs in creating a healthier society.
More than 350 patients were screened and treated for various dental issues during the camp. To further promote oral hygiene, oral hygiene kits were distributed to all attendees, courtesy of IDA Head Office, Mumbai.
A highlight of the event was the felicitation of Dr. Arpan Shrivastav, HOD, Department of Public Health Dentistry, by IDA Bhopal. He was presented with a memento of appreciation for his unwavering dedication to public oral health and community service.
