The Department of Periodontology at Rishi Raj College of Dental Sciences was established in the year2005. It has separate undergraduate and postgraduate sections equipped with modern dental chairs fitted with ultrasonic scalers as per Dental Council of India guidelines. Advanced surgical equipment like Laser surgical unit, Dental Implant Unit, Microsurgical unit, and Electro Cautery surgical units are the additional facilities available in the department. It also deals with the preventive and corrective measures in the management of gingival and periodontal diseases. Along with the good periodontal treatment to the patients, department also provides comprehensive patients based teaching to Undergraduates students as well as postgraduate students.
The Department is having well trained and dedicated teaching faculty, who are trained from various reputed colleges of India.
